4 – Bottle Creek
Galahad Metals Inc. has been actively exploring at Bottle Creek since 2005 and has earned a 60% interest from Golden Gryphon Explorations. Work carried out has included a comprehensive and ongoing exploration program consisting of mapping, geochemical sampling, ground geophysics, airborne geophysics and small drill program. The joint venture currently controls over 900 claims. In February of 2011 management announced that Galahad’s 60% interest in Bottle Creek Exploration LLC would be spun out into a newly incorporated private company called Red Ore Gold Inc. In consideration, Galahad will receive 8,953,360 common shares of Red Ore at a deemed price of $0.50 for an aggregate consideration of $4,476,680, representing the amount spent to date by the Company on exploration, property staking and payment costs at the Property. It is anticipated that Red Ore will raise $1m for working capital purposes, complete a NI 43-101 technical report, complete an IPO and apply for a listing on the TSX Venture Exchange. Galahad will retain the consideration shares as an investment.
Work carried out from 2005-end 2008 have enhanced existing targets and identified new target potential on the claims. The target for high-grade precious metal mineralization, based on down hole mineral zoning, lies at a depth greater than 300 metres, deeper than any of the historic drilling from the 1980s. The JV has outlined a budget of $1.6 million in drilling and sampling programs. Red Ore share would encompass 60% of these projected costs.
